GOT Class?
The Geeks On Tour Online Classroom
Do you take digital photos and wish you knew how to manage them better in your computer?
Would you like to have a website, a blog, to share your stories with the world, but you don't know where to start?
Do you wish you just understood your computer better? How to get online when you're on the road, how to avoid viruses and spyware? Do you hear about free software and wonder if it's any good? We'll tell you! All the software we teach about is free.
Geeks on Tour are Jim and Chris Guld. They live in their motorhome and travel the country giving seminars at RV parks and Rallies.
Sign up for the Free Newsletter (see form at right) and you'll get computer tips delivered to your inbox every month.
Better yet, if you become a member of GOT Class (Geeks on Tour online classroom) you can get the same education as the live seminars by watching their videos online.
Watch the sampler below to get a flavor of the video tutorials.
GOT Class has over 140 videos and more are being added all the time. Membership in other, similar, websites costs $25 every month. For the Geeks on Tour classroom, you only pay $39 for an entire year. That's it! No automatic renewal, just $39. And, that includes the members only forum, where Jim or Chris promise to respond to your questions.
Tutorial Videos on Using Picasa
Picasa is the free software we recommend for your pictures. In our online classroom, you'll have access to dozens of tutorial videos like this:
If you watch the video above, you'll see that we show you step-by-step exactly what to do. You'll see the computer actions on the screen and you'll hear us explaining everything as we go. You can pause or rewind any time you want. You can also re-view the video as often as you like. In our online classroom, our members have access to over 140 of these 'Show-Me-How' videos.
Hear what our members have to say:
" I love the Geeks on Tour videos, and am learning and changing things all the time(sort of). I have a long way to go, just changed my wallpaper and am trying a few other things. If you only knew how terrified I was and so now am becoming a little less terrified....thank you sooooo much! "
Sandy
"Thanks guys for all your impressive videos. I love my Picasa 3 too. You are very easy to understand and most informative. "
P & J
"Just want you to know what a help your videos have been to me over the last year. I'm so glad I became a member. "
Bill (from Australia)
" Thank you for your help. With the videos and your answers to my questions in the forum, I was able to prepare a GOOGLE map/Google Earth which maps the location of my extended family around the globe. Now I can share it with all of them thanks to Geeks on Tour!"
Walter
" Even though I am a pretty savvy web user, I learn A LOT from your videos!"
Amy
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your generous help may have saved our 31 year marriage. I was making my husband miserable with my problems on the blog. I had tried an hour of on-line help, & every trick in the book I knew. You gave me the answer."
Honey
"I have been spending most of my afternoon enjoying your tutorials --- it's the best $39 I've spent in a while .... Again I have learned a great deal, and even went back and did the same tutorial again to focus on additional details that I missed the first time. It is almost "like being there", since I recognize your friendly and informative voice. "
Sam
"I joined because of computer problems my friends were unable to help me with. (Solved the problem, once I could view the needed video) THANKS! ...
Thanks for all the information you share."

You don't have to do anything but sit back, watch and listen. We recommend that you watch all the videos in a topic. Just watch - don't try to follow along. The more you understand about how things work before you try it yourself, the better off you'll be. Once you start working with the program yourself, you're bound to have questions. At that point, you can re-watch whatever videos you need.
We'll answer your questions in our Members Only Forum
What's the worst part of computer frustration? ...
Not having anywhere to go, or anyone to ask for help.
If you become a member of our Online Classroom, you'll also be able to ask questions in our members forum or members-only email. Unlike other forums, we promise a response to your questions. Answering questions is also called consulting, something we normally bill at $60/hour! But our forum is a free benefit included with membership.
