Computer Education for Travelers

Chris using laptop at a campgroundAs fulltime RVers, we see more and more people traveling with their computers.  For some people this may even be their first computer.  For more experienced folks they are finding that there are new things to learn about using their computers when thery're traveling.  Using wireless Internet connections, managing all those travel photos, making blogs, using Internet-based mapping tools, and just taking care of your Windows-based computer without your local 'computer guy.'

We see a need for help with learning how to use your computer while traveling. Even if you're not traveling, you may be interested in the topics of managing digital photos with Picasa, or making a blog, or using Google Earth, or practicing safe computing, or just essential skills of using a computer.  You know .. the things you would have learned in school, if there had been computers when you went to school!

Good for Beginners

Jim and I may be 'geeks', but we pride ourselves on being understandable by beginners.  When teaching how to make a blog, for example, we understand that lots of people don't know what a blog is, so we start with some definitions and some examples.  Then we show, step by step, from the beginning, how to make a blog.

Our favorite testimonial came from a woman, in her 70s, who said that watching one of our 5 minute videos helped her understand something that family and friends had been trying to explain to her for years!  These videos show you the computer screen as I talk you through the topic at hand.  Sometimes the screen recordings are supplemented with a diagram to help explain a point.
